Here’s your chance to showcase your mixology skills and create the best Summer Whiskey Cocktail using Von Payne Black that captures the essence of summer.

Summer of Payne Cocktail Winner
A HUGE congratulations to Kevin Wilson, the winner of the Summer of Payne Cocktail Creation Challenge! You created such a unique batch cocktail that brings the Payne and is perfect for the summer!
Check out his Summer of Payne Cocktail below!
- Peach sweet ice tea.
- 5 tea bags.
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 honey
- 3 or 4 cut up nectarines plus 1 for garnish
“Put 2 cups of water and cut up nectarines into a pot and bring to boil for at least 5 minutes. Turn off heat.”
“Add sugar and honey and stir until dissolved.
“Slice a nectarine. Take a few pieces and muddle in a Mason jar. Drop some ice on it.
In a mixing cup goes ice. 2 shots of VPB.
Fill with the ice tea. Shake.
Pour into Mason jar.
Add a wedge.
Drop a couple of maraschino cherries that may have been soaking in vanilla vodka.
Give a last swirl.
Enjoy on the deck with some kabobs.”

Von Payne Summer Tribe Cocktail Creation Challenge
- ELIGIBILITY: The Von Payne Summer Tribe Cocktail Creation Challenge is open to participants who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. By entering this challenge, participants agree to comply with all rules and regulations outlined herein.
- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 2.1 Participants must be members of the official Von Payne Facebook Tribe to enter the challenge. 2.2 Entries must be original creations and feature Von Payne Black whiskey as a primary ingredient. 2.3 Each entry must include a high-quality photograph of the cocktail, captured in a summer-inspired setting. 2.4 Participants must provide a detailed recipe for their cocktail creation, including precise measurements and instructions. 2.5 The cocktail must be named creatively, reflecting the unique attributes and theme of the Von Payne Summer Tribe Cocktail Creation Challenge.
- ENTRY SUBMISSION: 3.1 To enter the challenge, participants must post their entry exclusively within the Von Payne Facebook Tribe group. Entries shared on other platforms will not be considered. 3.2 Participants must use the hashtag #SummerOfPayne in their entry post to be eligible. 3.3 Only one entry per participant is permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
- JUDGING: 4.1 The judging panel, consisting of the Von Payne Team, will evaluate all eligible entries based on creativity, presentation, and adherence to the theme. 4.2 The decision of the judging panel is final and binding. 4.3 Winners will be selected based on the judges’ favorite entry.
- PRIZES: 5.1 The winning creation will be featured on the official Von Payne website and social media channels, with proper credit given to the creator. 5.2 The winner will receive an exclusive Von Payne Tanktop, a Custom Summer of Payne Flask, and a set of stickers as prizes. 5.3 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
- CONTEST DURATION: The Von Payne Summer Tribe Cocktail Creation Challenge begins on [6/8/2023] and ends on July 30th at 11:59EST [6/30/2023]. The winner will be announced the following week.
- GENERAL TERMS: 7.1 By participating in this challenge, participants grant Von Payne Spirits, LLC the right to use their submitted entry, including photographs and recipe details, for promotional and marketing purposes. 7.2 Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to share any photographs or content included in their entry. 7.3 Von Payne Spirits, LLC reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the rules or contains inappropriate content. 7.4 Von Payne Spirits, LLC is not responsible for any technical issues, interruptions, or failures that may affect the submission or judging process. 7.5 The challenge is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
