Von Payne Black: a Recap of USA TODAY Wine and Food Experience in Naples

Von Payne Black was thrilled to make its Naples debut at the USA TODAY Wine and Food Experience Naples, held on November 16, 2024, at the NEW Paradise Coast Sports Complex. This sold-out event brought together culinary enthusiasts from across South Florida for a fancy afternoon of flavors, fun, and flair.

As Von Payne Black’s first-ever event in Naples, we were beyond excited to introduce our locally made black currant-infused whiskey to a new audience. We shared the Payne with over 1500 guests as they indulged in culinary creations, sipped premium beverages, and participated in hands-on experiences!

For us, it was all about sharing the Pleasure of Payne with the amazing people of South Florida.

Mixology Magic: Cocktail Classes with Von Payne Black

Von Payne sent down their Marketing Director, Tyler, to host two mixology classes, where attendees crafted their very own Von Payne Black signature cocktails. With up to 50 people per session, the classes quickly filled with curious cocktail enthusiasts eager to shake things up…literally! 

The two featured drinks were:

• Payne in the Ass: A unique and delicious Von Payne Black cocktail with a bold twist.
• Goth-a-Rita: Our gothic-inspired take on the classic margarita, made unforgettable with the tart-smooth profile of Von Payne Black.

Guided by expert mixologists, attendees mixed, shook, and sipped their creations while learning the art of cocktail making. It was an interactive experience that left every participant with both a delicious drink and a newfound appreciation for the versatility of Von Payne Black.

Sharing the Payne with South Florida

The Von Payne booth was a hotspot throughout the event, with a constant flow of attendees eager to taste our award-winning whiskey. From first-time sippers to seasoned bourbon enthusiasts, everyone was captivated by the iconic gargoyle pour spout that makes Von Payne Black a conversation starter before the bottle is even opened!
