Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Tampa is back and bigger than ever! After last year’s sold-out success, the festival has expanded into a two-day event on March 7 and 8, 2025, at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

This amazing event is a celebration of  Southern flavors, featuring unlimited beer and bourbon tastings, live music, and mouthwatering barbecue. Attendees can look forward to an unforgettable weekend packed with food, drinks, and fun – all while supporting the Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation.

Von Payne Black Returns to Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Tampa

Marking its third year and third time at this Tampa Whiskey Festival Von Payne Black is thrilled to share Pleasure of Payne with a new and even more enthusiastic crowd of bourbon lovers and BBQ fans! As we look forward to 2025, we reflect on last year’s festival!

Von Payne Black was thrilled to participate for the second time in 2024 and that was the first year we had our own booth! With the buzz about us being one of the only whiskey and the iconic gargoyle, our line stretched over 30 minutes long! Towards the end, we nearly ran out of whiskey! Here are some of our favorite moments from 2024.

  • The Demand: Our booth was buzzing with excitement, with lines stretching over 30 minutes long at times. The response was so incredible we almost ran out of whiskey!
  • Tasting Theatre Spotlight: Our Marketing Director hosted “Discovering the Pleasure of Payne”, showcasing our signature black currant-infused whiskey in a seminar that filled quickly with curious attendees.
  • The Tribe: We were beyond inspired by the energy and engagement of Tampa’s bourbon and BBQ enthusiasts so much so that we booked almost every BBBBBQ in 2025!

In 2025, we’re ready to enhance the Von Payne experience. This year, we’ll feature:

 

  • New Seminar: Don’t miss “Infusing A New Category of Whiskey: Von Payne Spirits” – a mixology class led by Marketing Director Tyler Morgan. This session will dive into the award-winning status of Von Payne Black and talk about how Cocktails are becoming too much of a “Payne in the Ass!“
  • Interactive Tastings: Stop by our booth to sample our whiskey and discover why it’s redefining the category of infused spirits.
  • Merch & More: Leave with some Von Payne Black goodies you can only get at BBBBQ!

  • Unlimited Tastings: Your souvenir glass grants you access to all-you-care-to-taste beer and bourbon samples.
  • Tasting Theatre Seminars: Make sure to attend at least one session, including Von Payne Black’s “Infusing A New Category of Whiskey.”
  • Food and Drink: Come hungry – food vendors will serve up everything from BBQ platters to sweet treats.

Tampa Whiskey Festival Information

With its new two-day format, Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Tampa promises even more excitement this year. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Dates: Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, 2025
  • Location: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N Ashley Dr, Tampa, FL 33602
  • Tickets:
    • Grand Poobah Admission ($165): All-access two-day pass with perks like express entry, unlimited sampling, a souvenir tasting glass, and a barbecue dinner ticket for both days.
    • Friday VIP Admission ($89): Includes early access, unlimited tastings, a BBQ platter, and access to the VIP Lounge.
    • Saturday VIP Admission ($89): Includes early access, two extra hours of tastings, and a VIP Lounge experience.
    • General admission tickets are available for $45 per day.
