Color – Deep Ruby Red from the Natural Black Currant with a hint of brown from the Barrel Aging.

Nose – Robust and distinctive currant berry, brown sugar with hints of oak and cinnamon.

Taste – Upfront vibrant earthy berry, slightly tart and sweet, complemented by oaky tones and a long warm finish.

Mouthfeel – Light to medium body full on the palate and smooth in texture.

You are not alone. Black Currant was Forbidden to grow in the United States until 2003 as a threat to the logging industry; many haven’t heard or even tasted it.  

The benefits of this tart berry are emerging into the US market as a dense super-fruit high in antioxidants and Vitamin-C. This is why we only use the best all-natural black currant berries and not flavoring.

Black Currants are the key to our unique blend.

Simply put. We do.

We built our Blended whiskey from the ground up. We spent over three years perfecting our blend, designing our bottle from scratch, learning how to 3D model to design our Gargoyle pour spout and testing all this on our friends and family.
