We never like it when Spooky Season ends so…As the holiday season approaches, forget Santa Claus and the Grinch and welcome in Krampus!
This year, Krampusfest 2024 is bringing the dark, festive, and mischievous spirit of Krampus to Orlando on Sunday, December 8th, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Plaza Live. This unique, one-day-only event is free to attend and promises a dark and spooky holiday celebration!
What is Krampusfest?
Inspired by Alpine traditions where St. Nicholas Day is preceded by an appearance from the yuletide ghoul Krampus, Krampusfest 2024 is the ultimate gathering for those who love the thrill of Christmas’ darker folklore.
In European legend, Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon figure who punishes naughty children, contrasting with Saint Nicholas’ role as the bringer of gifts.
This ancient tale of judgment and revelry has evolved into a celebration of the mysterious and mischievous, and Krampusfest captures this spirit perfectly in a vibrant, festive setting.

1. Von Payne Black Whiskey Experience
Presented by Von Payne Black, this year’s Krampusfest will feature specialty cocktails like the Goth-A-Rita, Payne in the Ass whiskey mule, and Payne on the Rox.
The Von Payne team will also bring Krampus-themed merchandise, whiskey tastings, and a special setup for photo ops.
Bottles will be available to purchase, so you can take the unique tastes of Von Payne Black home!
2. Live Music and Entertainment
Enjoy performances by Bad Santa & The Angry Elves and the Yelves, alongside other festive acts that will keep the crowd entertained throughout the day. The live music adds an exciting soundtrack to the festivities, making Krampusfest a truly immersive experience.

The much-loved Krampuslauf parade is back! Attendees are encouraged to join the Krampus-themed march through the festival grounds, either dressed as Krampus or adorned in other festive attire. It’s a sight to see (and join) as Orlando’s Milk District becomes an Alpine wonderland.
4. Costume Contest
What’s a Krampusfest without costumes? Patrons are invited to dress as Krampus or other holiday characters. The costume contest is a chance to showcase creativity and capture the essence of Krampus’ darker holiday magic.
5. Photo Opportunities with Krampus
This is your chance to get a one-of-a-kind holiday photo with the Christmas demon himself! Professional photo ops with Krampus are available, making for a memorable keepsake.
6. Holiday Market and Food Vendors
For those who love unique holiday shopping, the Krampusfest holiday market will feature Christmas vendors offering one-of-a-kind items. Foodies will enjoy culinary bites from local vendors, adding to the festivities with delicious holiday treats.
7. Biergarten and Full Bars
