Open the Bottle.
The Von Payne Black Gargoyle comes wrapped in plastic and has a silicone stopper covering the metal conduit for product safety. So let’s go over how to open it for the first time!
- Remove the perforated plastic that wraps around the mouth of the food-safe metal pour spout. (Batch #3 bottles and newer no longer have the plastic around the mouth)
- Remove the plastic wrapping around the neck of the bottle and the bottom of the pour spout. We recommend using a knife to cut a small slit first. Be safe when using sharp objects!
- Once all plastic is removed from the bottle, slowly pull and jiggle the pour spout out of the bottle while holding the black silicone stopper.
- Once the entire pour spout is out of the bottle, grip the black silicone stopper and pull the red tab off the bottom. Bars and Restaurants: For proper food handling safety, wear a glove while handing the bottle, as the stopper will contact the liquor.
- Place the Gargoyle assembly back into the bottle while pressing down firmly to ensure a proper seal!
- Now you are ready to Discover the Pleasure of Payne!
** If, for some reason, the black silicone stopper comes off the metal gargoyle, simply slide it back on!**
