Hey Tribe,
What a way to kick off 2024! We just got back from three major events, and yet again, we are blown away by your support!
WSWA Las Vegas: Last week, our team was in Las Vegas for the WSWA Alcohol Industry tradeshow. We shared the Payne, our tribe, and your demand for Von Payne Black. We met with many new distributors to help achieve our goal of bringing the Payne to your state. Big updates coming soon!
Local Events: We followed our trip to Vegas by kicking off the year with tastings at the Orlando Whiskey Festival and Whiskey Riot! Those were amazing, and it was great to see some familiar faces and welcome new people to the Von Payne Tribe! We are looking forward to doing A LOT more events in the coming months!

Event Recap
Whiskey Riot – St. Pete
The Von Payne team attended their first-ever Whiskey Riot Festival in St. Pete on Feb 3rd at the St. Pete. Coliseum to a sold-out crowd! We poured Von Payne Reserve for the VIP guests, handed out swag, and shared the Payne with our amazing Tribe! Looking forward to our next one on April 20th in Houston, Texas.
Orlando Whiskey Festival
Our second time at this amazing festival that supports an even more amazing charity, the Lovely Project. We were blown away to learn that Von Payne Reserve was the #1 bid on Whiskey in the Silent Auction! It was great to see familiar faces, make some Payne in the Ass cocktails, and welcome new comers to the Von Payne Tribe!
WSWA 2024 – Las Vegas
Well, it wouldn’t be the Pleasure of Payne without a good story, right?
From delays to denials, spills to losses, our dedicated team made the best of whatever was thrown our way!
While we didn’t take home the gold, win the Brand Battle, or even have our liquor in the state, we went through the “Payne” of the process and did what we do best… Share the Payne and Grow our Tribe!

It wouldn’t be a Newsletter without some REAL news, right? Well, thanks to Fox 13’s Lloyd Sowers & Emily Felts we had the opportunity to share the Payne on the news!
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – First came the popularity of craft beer, but in recent years a new universe of bourbons and whiskeys has become popular. Fans are pouring shot after shot, and they’re eager to try new brands.
“One of the many new brands is bottled in the Bay Area. The name of the blended bourbon is Von Payne. It was launched a few years ago by Steve Allen.
At 58-years-old, he sold his successful software business and turned to the bourbon business.
“Some people would say that’s too late to start a new career and there’s not a harder shift to make than from software to bourbon.”
